  • Where are you located and where can I park?
You can find us on York Street, between Fitzgerald and Walcott Streets, conveniently located inside HEXA Health Hub. You'll spot the DRIVE Health and Performance signs. Simply come in, take a seat and your practitioner will be with you shortly. There is ample free street parking on York Street. Please note, parking at the side or rear of the building is for tenant use only.
  • How early should I arrive?
Please arrive 15 minutes early if this is your first visit as you will be required to complete your new patient paperwork. As our practitioners do aim to start your treatment on time, if you could please arrive at least 5 minutes early for a standard appointment it would be greatly appreciated. On rare occasions, the care being provided to our client may require a practitioner to run a little over the stated appointment time. Thank you for your understanding.
  • Do I have to pay for my appointment on the day?
Yes, we are a pay on the day clinic. Our clinic has HICAPS for your convenience so remember to bring your private health insurance card.
  • Do you have private health rebates?
Yes, we have a HICAPS terminal on-site that accepts all major health funds. Simply swipe on the day to instantly claim your health rebate for 'Occupational Therapy'.
  • How many appointments will I need?
There is no simple answer. This will depend on the context of the individual, the complexity of your concern and your goals. We strongly recommend you follow the advice given by your practioner, who is the best person to tailor your treatment plan.
  • I'm not currently injured or in pain, what can I get out of seeing you?"
Our focus here is injury prevention and improving health and performance. We can help you achieve this by improving tissue health, motor control and awareness, mobility, strength and overall movement quality.
  • Are you just going to tell me to rest?
Very rarely, if ever, will you hear us tell you to completely rest for a given time. We are firm believers that there is always some sort of moving, exercise or training you can be doing as we rehab your injury and we are happy to provide some guidance on appropriate alternatives.
